L A W - O F - T H E - L A N D
* Be respectful to everyone who uses this site. Do not insult anyone in any way, or you will be banned.
* If you steal from Fairwater, you will be caught. Please don't do it. You could end up in jail.
* Don't spam. It's tiring and pointless. Spam includes advertisements not in the proper board, chatspeak posts, or just posts with no meaning.
* You must be thirteen years or older to join Fairwater. Any user younger than thirteen years old will be deleted.
* When you join Fairwater, you are making a commitment to e active. This doesn't mean just logging on and posting in the cbox. You are promising to post in character at least twice a week, or post in the away board if you are not going to be here, so that your account/s is not deleted.
* Fairwater goes by the account per character system, meaning that for every character there is a seperate account. This keeps things neat and organized. Also, each member is allowed four characters.
* In order to be an active roleplayer on Fairwater, you must have a large amount of experience with the English language. This means that you can use proper grammar and capitalization and make an in-character post of 200 words or more.
* Roleplaying should only be done in the past tense. However, you may choose whether you want to post in the first person or the third person.
* When roleplaying, you must use proper capitalization. It is sometimes just a decorative thing, using all lowercase, but there are roleplayers out there with bad eyesight or whatnot and it would help if you used proper capitalization. Also, thoughts are italicized and speech is preferably surrounded with quotes, but if not, it must be bolded.
* You may decorate your in character posts any way you want. However, if you want to use different colors, I suggest that you make a table. Therefore, if the skin changes, your posts will still be visible.
* You are allowed to use liquid time on Fairwater. However, it is suggested that you don't enter more than three or four threads with one character.
* Not all characters are the most witty, funny, beautiful, strong, smart, etc. Everyone feels sad sometimes, everyone bleeds, and nobody knows everything there is to know in every single situation. So don't make your character one of those cliches (the perfect one, strong but silent, seductive etc.) Your character can be strong but silent, or seductive, but there must be a reason why your character is the way they are.
* Your character has to be accepted before you can roleplay them.
* Your character should not know anything about humans, and they should not be with them or see a trace of them anytime in their life. Fairwater is an island in the Atlantic Ocean that is untouched by humans. Your character would not know anything about them.
* If there are more than two people in a thread, create a posting order. That way, nobody will be left out from what is going on.
* Relationships are allowed on the site. However, there is no 'love at first sight' - there must be at least two threads before the characters realize they are in love. The more threads, the better. If you want them to have cubs, please, please, please don't make a breeding thread. Nobody wants to read that. Instead, both parents should PM the puppy statistics they thought up to this account for the admin to approve. The admin will reply with a due date, and on that date your character can have a thread where they give birth.
* Please do not create a puppy or a she-wolf that is already pregnant. The she-wolf must be pregnant on site and all wolves created must be at least 1 year old.
* Wolves of all sexualities are allowed on the site, as well as homosexual relationships, etc.
* There should be no wolfspeak, like 'pillars' or 'lanterns' or 'orbs'.
* Your account name must be the name of your character, your account gender the gender of your character, etc.
* Signatures should not be more than 475 pixels in width or height. Avatars should not be more than 130 x 230, and you do not have to buy large avatars from our shop.
* Name decorations are awesome, but be tasteful! Don't decorate your display name so much that it's hard to read.
